Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 2026

These terms govern your use of MusicFlow, a service for managing sheet music, practice tracks, and performances for bands and choirs. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

The service

MusicFlow provides organizations (such as choirs, bands, and churches) a private space to organize their own sheet music, practice tracks, groups, and events. Access requires an account, and your use takes place within the organization(s) you belong to.

Your content and copyright

  • You and your organization retain all rights to the files you upload. MusicFlow claims no ownership of your content.
  • You confirm that you are legally entitled to upload the material and share it within your organization. Responsibility for copyright clearance of uploaded material lies with you and your organization, not with MusicFlow.
  • MusicFlow is a neutral host: we do not supply, curate, or license any musical content ourselves.
  • You grant MusicFlow only the technical permission needed to store, display, and deliver your files to the members of your organization.

Reporting copyright infringement

Rights holders who believe material on MusicFlow infringes their rights can report this via the contact address on the website. On receipt of a substantiated notice, we will promptly remove the material or disable access to it.

Repeated infringement may lead to suspension of the account or organization involved.

Acceptable use

  • Do not upload or share unlawful content, and use the service only for its intended purpose.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent access controls or gain access to other organizations' data.
  • Do not resell the service or use it in a way that harms its operation for others.

Availability and support

MusicFlow is provided "as is", on a best-effort basis. We work hard to keep the service running reliably, but we do not guarantee a specific uptime and offer no guaranteed support response times.

Maintenance may occasionally cause interruptions; for planned maintenance we aim to give reasonable notice.

Data, backups and export

Your data is hosted within the European Economic Area (Germany) and backed up regularly. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.

Where we process personal data on behalf of your organisation, our processor agreement applies. The organisation owner can accept it in the organisation settings. Data Processing Agreement

Should MusicFlow ever be discontinued, you will receive at least 60 days' notice and the opportunity to export your organization's data.

Limitation of liability

MusicFlow is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of data, missed performances, reputational harm and lost profits, except in the case of intent or conscious recklessness on MusicFlow's own part.

Total liability, per contract year and across all claims combined, is limited to the fees your organisation paid for the service in the 12 months before the event, or €100 for free use. A claim lapses if it is not reported in writing within 12 months of discovery.

Termination

You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access in case of a breach of these terms, where reasonable after prior notice.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. In case of material changes, you will be notified.

These terms are governed by Dutch law.
